FAQ
Straight answers from the engineering team
Questions about what we build and how we work? How we work on web, mobile, hardware, and AI — as a full stack, or as the part you need.
What does Caliber Systems actually build?
Production software. SaaS platforms, enterprise dashboards, APIs, iOS and Android apps, IoT hardware connected to the cloud, and AI inside those products. We can take a product end to end — web, mobile, and hardware on one architecture — or ship any of those layers on its own.
Do you only take on large end-to-end systems?
No. A complete stack is one way we work. A SaaS platform, a mobile app, a dashboard, or a hardware layer on its own is equally in scope. We match the shape of the product, not a fixed package.
Who do you work with?
Startups, SaaS companies, SMBs, and enterprise teams that need custom software. We also partner with companies that have physical products or field operations (hardware plus software), and with digital agencies as a white-label engineering team.
Can you take over an existing product?
Yes. We audit architecture, performance, and stack, then continue building — or rebuild the parts that can't scale. Typical work includes migrating to Next.js / NestJS, splitting a monolith, connecting a mobile client, or wiring devices into the same backend.
Do you ship mobile and hardware as well as web?
Yes. Hardware can collect data or control a device. Web can be the control panel, analytics, and admin. Mobile can be access in the field. They can share one backend — or we can build just the piece you need now, with a path to connect the rest later.
Do you stay after launch?
Yes. We like long-term product partnership: architecture, performance, scaling, and continuous shipping. We also take defined pieces of work. Quality over volume, a modern stack (Next.js, NestJS, React Native, PostgreSQL, AWS), and support that lasts.
How do we start?
Book a call or write through the contact form. We'll discuss the product, constraints, and goals, then come back with a clear technical plan — approach, scope, and next steps. No vague proposals; you'll know what we would actually build.
